Privacy policy
The controller of your personal data is Nenad Karalić, a private individual from the Republic of Serbia, publishing software under the x-doo name. Postal address: available on request by email. Privacy contact: vizwave-support@x-doo.com.
The software
VizWave works offline. It doesn't collect, send or share any data: no analytics, no crash reports, no account. Your audio, images and videos stay on your computer. A license you enter is stored only on your computer.
This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. The hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in running a secure website.
Buying a license
When you buy, Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, processes your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy. I receive your name, email address, country and order details, and use them only to issue your license, support you, handle refunds and meet tax and accounting duties. Your name and email are written into your license, so that it can be traced if it is shared.
The legal basis is the contract with you (issuing your license, support and refunds), my legal obligations (tax and accounting records) and my legitimate interest in protecting licenses from misuse.
I keep this data for as long as you may need your license and as long as the law requires for accounting records. It is never sold or used for advertising.
Emails
If you write to support, I keep the conversation to help you and for later questions, based on my legitimate interest in answering you (or on the contract, when it is about a purchase). You won't get newsletters unless you ask for them.
Who receives your data
Your data is shared only with the service providers I need to run the shop, each bound to use it only on my behalf:
- Paddle.com, reseller and Merchant of Record: payment, receipts, taxes and refunds;
- Cloudflare: hosting of this website and of the license service, which stores your order and license;
- Resend: sending the email with your license;
- Hostinger: the support mailbox.
Beyond that, data is shared only with professional advisers (such as an accountant) or authorities, where the law requires it.
Some of these providers process data outside your country, including outside the EU and Serbia. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by the standard contractual clauses in their data processing agreements, or by another safeguard the law allows.
Security
Your data is sent only over encrypted connections and kept with providers that protect it with access controls and encryption. Access is limited to me, and I keep only the data described here.
Your rights
By writing to vizwave-support@x-doo.com you can ask to:
- see the data I hold about you and get a copy of it (access, portability);
- correct it, or delete it (rectification, erasure);
- limit how it is used, or object to its use based on legitimate interest (restriction, objection);
- withdraw a consent you gave, at any time.
I answer within one month. Some data must be kept for accounting by law. You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country (in Serbia: the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection).
